The great-granddaughters of Gucci founder Guccio Gucci are once again trying to offload a luxurious Manhattan penthouse for a steep price. Alessandra and Allegra Gucci have been attempting to sell their duplex Midtown penthouse for no less than $35m since 2016. Despite listing and relisting the 13-room Olympic Tower abode, the price has remained the same. But according to the Serhant agent who holds the listing, Loy Carlos, the price is now competitive. The unit is divided into an entertaining floor and a bedroom floor, the latter effectively “divided into two wings of primary suites” akin to a European family compound, Carlos said.

Gucci siblings re-list their Midtown penthouse for $35 million.

The Manhattan penthouse once owned by the great-granddaughters of Gucci founder Guccio Gucci is once again on the market for a steep $35m. Alessandra and Allegra Gucci have been trying to sell the duplex Midtown penthouse since 2016, enlisting the help of numerous major city brokerages, including Corcoran Group, Douglas Elliman, Brown Harris Stevens and Sotheby’s International Realty. Now, the sisters have turned to Ryan Serhant’s company Serhant to help them finally secure a sale. The Olympic Tower abode was first listed in 2015 for $45m before having its price cut by $10m. It has been listed and relisted numerous times since then. Despite the high price tag, Serhant agent Loy Carlos argues the ask is reasonable. The sprawling 9,450 sq ft property is spread across the 50th and 51st floors and features two internal elevators, eight bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, two woodburning fireplaces, a sauna, staff kitchen and views of the Empire State Building.
