A new real-estate reality show is set to feature one of New York City’s most expensive properties, the $250 million triplex penthouse at Central Park Tower, according to sources. The show will be starring celebrity broker Ryan Serhant as he takes viewers through the castle in the sky, situated in the world’s tallest residential condo tower, at 217 W. 57th St., an impressive 1,416 feet above street level. The penthouse, which opened last September, is still the most expensive property on the market in the city according to data provided by StreetEasy.

The interior space of the penthouse spans 17,545 square feet, while there is 1,433 square feet of outdoor space. The impressive home opens on the 129th floor and affords stunning panoramic views of the city that include Central Park, towering above Billionaires’ Row, and other nearby supertalls such as 432 Park. Meanwhile, amenities in the building include a gym, pool, sun deck, cabanas, screening room, business center, indoor saltwater pool, spa, sauna, and squash court.

The penthouse is also home to a 1,500-square-foot grand salon and a nearly 2,000-square-foot ballroom with 27-foot-tall ceilings. The home also includes design details such as a windowed staircase, an observatory, a library, a media room, a catering kitchen, and a chef’s kitchen. At a recent cocktail party held at the penthouse, organised by Lauren Mitinas-Kelly, a broker at Serhant’s firm, Carlyle Group co-founder David Rubenstein spoke to a group of well-heeled centimillionaires and billionaires.

Serhant’s production company, SERHANT. Studios, is behind the docu-series, and filming is set to start from Friday, while the broker himself declined to comment.
